Once again GF&WS is working with Durban Tourism to promote the city and all the wonderful attractions it has to offer on the food front.
Says Head of Durban Tourism Phillip Sithole: “The Good Food & Wine Show has been identified as the best platform to showcase Durban’s unique and multi-cultural cuisine to an array of globally recognised chefs and food television networks.
We are delighted to expose our authentic cuisine globally and part of this culinary exchange is to take the visiting chefs to partake in a unique township cook-off, whereby valuable cooking skills will be shared to our local communities. Ultimately we want to use platforms like these to develop food tourism and nurture the culinary talent in our city.”
